Parent Unity was a concept developed during Innovation Week at Hyper Island to explore how technology could support single parents. The project focused on creating a platform that fosters connection, shared experiences, and emotional support beyond traditional social or dating apps.
Single parents often face isolation and daily challenges without accessible spaces designed for mutual support and shared understanding. Existing platforms did not address their specific emotional and social needs.
Solution
Working collaboratively, we developed Parent Unity as a community-driven digital platform focused on connection and support.
I contributed to shaping the concept direction, developing the brand narrative, and designing the user journey. I also created a storytelling video illustrating the daily realities of single parents, helping communicate the concept in a relatable and engaging way.
The concept presented a clear alternative to traditional social platforms by focusing on support and shared experience. The storytelling approach helped communicate the idea effectively and received positive feedback during the final presentation.
